Taubmans Endure Low Sheen White Base Interior Wall Paint 

Endure Paint for interior walls by Taubmans is engineered to provide maximum protection for your walls. Nanoguard technology provides a protective shield so everyday dirt and stains can be wiped away, without compromising the quality of the paint. The Endure range of paint provides excellent mould and mildew protection, ensuring a clean and healthier home environment.

Taubmans Endure® Interior is engineered with Nanoguard Advanced Technology, which provides maximum protection for interior surfaces against everyday dirt and stains. The interlocking molecular structure utilises small and large particles to form a strong protective shield, so the surface can be cleaned without compromising the quality of the paint.

Specifications

Application process
  •  Firstly prepare surface 

Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free of contamination. Walls should be wiped down with a mild detergent and rinsed clean with fresh water, even if they don't appear to be dirty, to ensure removal of any surface contamination and ensure the paint has a clean surface to adhere to.

  •  New Work

Seal new or bare plaster with Taubmans Prep Right Plaster Sealer. Seal bare wallboards or Gyprock with Taubmans Ultraprep or Taubmans 3 in 1.

  •  Repaint

Remove all loose or flaking paint, wash all areas thoroughly to remove any surface contamination. Treat surfaces affected by mould with chlorine bleach diluted one part bleach to four parts water. Rinse clean with fresh water. Spot repair any bare areas such as filled holes as per directions for new work.

  •  Coats

Apply two liberal coats by brush, roller or spray. Do not overspread. Keep brushes and rollers working freely by rinsing occasionally in clean water.

  •  Clean up

Water wash up, away from drains.

  •  Coverage

Up to 16m²/litre, depending on nature of surface. Coverage will be lower on rough or absorbent surfaces.

  •  Recoat

Recoat after 2 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity.

  •  Stirring

Stir paint with a 25mm wide flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use. It is always recommended to stir paint before use to ensure that the colour tints are dispersed evenly throughout the paint.

  •  Temperature

Do not use at temperatures below 10°C, above 35°C or when humidity is excessive.

Application Process

Firstly prepare surface 

Clean and dry  the surface. 

Mould needs to be treated with bleach and rinsed with fresh water then. 

All surface defects need to be filled with a suitable filler.

 Using masking tape on wall and ceiling paints is not recommended.


Applying on new work

Apply Taubmans 3 in 1 once on surfaces such as timber,  masonry and paper faced plasterboard.

 

If surfaces previously painted

All flaking and loose paint need to be removed. Then sand with fine paper surfaces. Prime before paint if it is necessary. Apply Taubmans 3 in 1 to make sure surfaces are even. Undercoat surfaces which were painted before. 

 

Application steps

Check colour before use. 

Applying two coats using a 4mm – 6mm (nap or pile length) roller or brush is recommended. 

Put thin coats as a thick coat will cause runs to appear. 

Use a roller (10 mm) in a large areas  and brush on the edges.

Mix paint for 5 minutes before use

30 minutes is a Drying time (touch dry)

After 2 hours at 25°C and  4 hours in cold or humid areas Recoat 

If temperatures below 10°C Do not paint


Covered area

Coverage depends on the surface roughness. Up to 16 m2 per litre.
